Big Dog Sports League offers co-ed volleyball year-round with Indoor leagues in the Winter, Spring, Summer &Fall. Leagues are 6 on 6, at least 3 females and 1 male mandatory for each game. Leagues will be hosted by Big Dog Sports at facilities throughout the Houma-Thibodaux area.

FAQ:
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: BDSL provides all of the various assorted items you would need for a volleyball game including:
Equipment - Balls, Nets, Scoresheets
Courts - We reserve your times at all facilities
Supervision – A supervisor/s will join you at every game
The only thing you need to bring are appropriate shoes and your favorite ball if there is one you prefer using, and is deemed acceptable for use. Also, don’t forget your ID for drinks after the games.
Q: How does the Co-ed thing work?
A: Each team must have at least 3 females and 1 male. The rotation must alternate male/female unless the female ratio is greater.
During play, one of the 3 hits on a side must be by a female, otherwise it is an illegal hit and the opposing team will be awarded the point. (Example: John passes, Andrea sets, Mike attacks).
Q: How many players on a team?
A: Teams can range from 6-10 players. You will play 6 on the court at a time. Your team roster can have up to 10 players. All players must play in 2 separate matches to qualify for the playoffs.
Q: Ok, I’m signing up! What if I need to change my roster?
A: Roster changes are allowed until the last week of any BDSL season. Volleyball rosters should never be larger than 10 people. A rostered player can ONLY be eligible for the playoffs if s/he has played in 2 separate matches.
Q: How do I register?
A: We now accept registration online! You may also print the registration form and email it to info@bigdogsportsleague.com , or sometimes we accept registration at the host facility. We will notify everyone if this is an option for the season.
We also hold an open registration session at our league sponsor bar about 2 weeks before the scheduled start of the league. Check back or email us to see when & where this will take place.

Q: When can I register?
A: Registration opens approximately 6 weeks before the league begins.
Q: How much to be a part of this?
A: $150 will get you in the league, 7 weeks of volleyball action & a lively end of season party.
Q: End of season party?!
A: At the end of the league (usually on Friday night) we invite all the players for the entire season & their guests to celebrate, dance and play FlipCup at our league sponsor bar.
